Our Vision

The Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities (VBCF) offers a cutting-edge research infrastructure that was, is and will be the solid foundation of breakthrough discoveries at the Vienna BioCenter, one of the most outstanding and prominent life sciences hubs in Central Europe. 

Our Mission

We offer scientific services that enable innovative research at the VBC and provide a competitive locational advantage to all researchers on campus. To this end, we offer access to state-of-the-art instruments paired with the depth and breadth of experience of 100 trained scientists.

 

Our Values

As a research infrastructure, we do not have our own research agenda but enable others to solve their scientific questions. We do so by providing cost-efficient services underlying transparent, equal access rights to all researchers that seek our scientific services.
