The Vienna Open Lab is a joint initiative of dialog<>gentechnik and the IMBA –Institute of Molecular Biotechnology, which provides more than 4.000 visitors with a glimpse of the possibilities and methods of the modern life sciences.
From pre-school children to senior citizens, the Vienna Open Lab has a variety of programmes suitable for all ages and levels of prior knowledge. Supervised by young students, visitors will explore the exciting world of molecular biology, from isolating DNA to genetic diagnostics.
